A family business for more than twenty years
Scotty’s Building Developments (previously known as Scotty’s Concrete Pty Ltd) was founded in 1995 by Keith Bootland (‘Scotty’). Scotty began his career as a stonemason, working on castles in Germany and Scotland. When he moved to Australia, a lack of stone buildings encouraged Scotty to gain new skills in bricklaying and concreting.
Scotty is also a talented carpenter, rounding out his extensive trade skills. This experience and Scotty’s own high standards for quality form the foundation of Scotty’s Building Developments.
Today, the business is a family business, with Scotty’s son Scott working as Operations Manager and Site Supervisor. Scott is a carpenter by trade and shares his father’s dedication to quality workmanship.
